Hey all. I have a long trip coming up tomorrow and would like to get my final checklist for manual "airplane mode" basically. I have a Unibody 2.4 pro with 4 gigs of ram. So far my checklist is as follows.
-Bluetooth off
-Wifi off
-Power saver mode
-Lowest possible brightness
-Keyboard backlight off
-not plugging in ipod, iphone or external hd
-killing background apps in activity monitor (only ones with high cpu usage, or what?)
what else should I do?
The trip in total (with layover) is 6 hours. I know theres no way it will last the entire trip but I would like it to last as long as possible, I'll be prepared with two movies on my backup iPhone just in case. I'll be watching a tv show in VLC during the flight. During my hour and a half layover I'll try and find a socket to get a little bit of juice.
Would watching a regularly compressed tv show vs. an HD 720p rip be any different?
Thanks in advance
