So I was wondering if I am able to sign up as a student developer (99$) and then use the discount I get (20% If I'm not mistaken) towards a new Macbook pro. Any hooks on this? For how long do I have to pay to get the discount. The discount would probably save me like 400$.
Also, I read in their FAQ:
ADC Student Members may be eligible to receive a one-time discount on a single system to be used only for development purposes.

Which means I am only allowed to use my Macbook pro for developing purposes and nothing else?

Thanks!

Not sure on the specifics of that program but students already get a nice discount plus free iPod and free printer that are good for an extra $200 on cl. That's $300 off most new machines. Pretty good deal.

Ah that sucks. Also, I'm not 18, so I guess there won't be any discount available?
