Hi I'm a bit confused. I am currently running a Hi Res MBP to an external Philips monitor which has a max resolution of 1280 x 1024.
What is the max resolution external screen I can run from my MBP? Would it also be 1920 x 1200?

Thanks

I power a 30" screen of mine at work as well as the 23 ACD. All the macbook's and macbook can power a 1900x1200 display.

Great thanks alot. Do you think a 30'' ACD would appear pixelated at all running from the MBP? Or should I stick with a 23''? Advice is much appreciated!

It can drive the resolution of 2560-by-1600 which 30 inch screens have.

Ok thanks so 1920 x 1200 isn't the max it can run? Is this because it's a high res model or are all MB and MBP's capable of driving the 30'' ACD resolution?

The 30" ACD requires dual-link DVI. The MBP has it. The MB does not.
