Maxing Out MBP 15 Antiglare

I'm thinking about picking up a MBP 15 Antiglare and maxing it out. Always loved the look of that computer. I’m thinking new ssd, ram and adding a Blu-ray drive. Anything else I can do?

Make sure it is a Mid-2012.

Was that the year the gpu issue was fixed?

No GPU issue on the Mid-2012 -- at least none related to Radeon graphics.
Apple moved to NVidia with that model, and it was the last one with the antiglare option.
