Hi guys,

I am thinking of buying the new MacBook Pro M1 and I currently have the 2019 MacBook 13"..

I use Numbers, ( as well as Word) -- how do I go about saving my work? I plan on selling this MacBook and getting a new one, but need all my current info to transfer over.

Any help would be appreciated!

Thank you!

Numbers saves to your iCloud storage by default. It should be in the Numbers folder, unless you changed locations.

Thank you.

Just checked, it's not there. Only on my desktop -- just dragged from desktop to the numbers folder.

is that it?

Cloud is great. Get yourself an external drive and do regular time machine backups. Numbers integrates with iCloud so you can save those documents there but you really should be doing backups of your whole system just as a matter of course.

Thank you! I lost all my numbers data when I got a new MacBook last year, didn't want to do that again lol
