I have a friend who is a "Road Design Engineer" (I am Vietnamese, I'm not English native speaker, so maybe I translate incorrectly the job of my friend; Road design Engineer I mean a person who design the roads, street, bridge, sewer etc.). He usually use a Vietnamese software which runs on Windows to design roads. But, he want to buy a new Macbook Pro and he wonders if any programs run on MAC can do this job.

May you tell me and my friend what is the best/most well-known software which designs Road.

Thanks you very much.

That's a specialized software suite that probably only runs on Windows. If that's the standard in the "road design" field (like AutoCAD in the engineering world), then your friend should use that.

The software is Vietnamese. That IS NOT a standard in this field. Dont tell me that there is no "Road design" engineer use Macbook. If a "road engineer" use macbook for his/her job. What program does he/she use?

Please helppppppppppppp

Is the software vietnamese, or is it software that has vietnamese language support? I'm willing to bet the latter, knowing something about how the software industry works. I repeat... any road design software is almost certainly going to be a Windows platform. Google it if you really care.

Google is your friend. Try a google search on "road design software osx" and you get a number of options. Or search "road design software" and find windows versions and run it under bootcamp.

I doubt any MacRumors members could tell you what is the "best" road design software.

thx for your adviced, but.........

Of course I "asked" google before, BUT I didn't get my answers yet.
