Hey everyone,

First time posting here, although I'm always looking through these forums for answers so thanks for all your knowledge. My problem lies in the performance of Maya 2010 on my iMac. I have an old 2005 HP notebook that runs it better than my 2010 iMac. First time I loaded it up I started to model and noticed immediately it was slow and had to "think" before doing anything, rotating around an object, selecting vertices...anything. Restarted, reinstalled, nothing helped. So I came to your forums and found some people with the same issue. These people were having success with the issue by creating another user on the mac and only using it for Maya. I tried that with no success, still pausing with every move. I'm stumped so I would love some help if anyone may know something.
