Maybe false alarm: apple processing credit card charge for a watch

edit: take this with a grain of salt and don't believe everything you read on the Internet, but possibly true

Posted to reddit a few minutes ago, this guy is in Australia. My guess is those in the 4/24-5/8 group in the U.S. should start seeing our credit cards hit tomorrow:

My gfs white sport 38 mm just been billed to my account, completely went through. Nothing about my own SS 42mm yet.

Yeah I'm leaning towards real now also. Now that I understand tax is included in austraikianorice and he also used a $100 gift card, explaining his 399 charge. I'm sure when I'll wake up there will be many more reporting this and this guy will win the Internet of firsts
 
This morning woke up to find a £1 charge on my Credit Card. Order at 8:02, nothing has changed on my order page though
 
I'm in the 24/4-8/5 group for a SB Sport (UK).

My available balance has just gone down by £339. I don't see the charge until it comes out (on the app at least) but my available balance reflects any upcoming payments.

What time did your confirmation email come through? Mine came through at 8:01am and I haven't had any charges yet...
 
Still waiting here. I bank with hsbc in the UK, so no idea when they'll do it. If I recall though, the auth went through on the Tuesday when I bought the iPhone 5.
 
In the UK here. Order confirmation received at 8:01am for my SS 42mm Milanese Loop but still no charge to my debit card. Available balance still the same!
 
I'm in the UK and in the 24/4 - 8/5 bracket although I didn't order until around 8.35am. I seem to have a £1 charge today but it's too early to tell what it is.

I bank with NatWest and the app on my phone is down so having to check the website, and am developing OCD :D

Hi Did you pay via CC or Debit? I paid via debit and have had no charge at all :confused:

I paid by debit card too. I can't say 100% that the charge is an Apple one as it isn't telling me yet, but £1 seems like a test charge and I can't think of anything else it would be.
