Maybe Sling will get to iPhone soon now

Looks like Sling will get the beta out to the Blackberry crowd after all - before iPhone. I finally got ORB connected and working on my iPhone, looks great and runs perfectly. Plays the recorded shows off my PC perfectly also. So if Sling and Apple can get it working - that's great. And if not, I'll enjoy ORB.

The financial crisis will be resolved long before a sling version for iphone

It almost took Slingmedia an entire year from the announcement of a beta version for RIM devices (I believe they announced the sling software for blackberries back in Jan 2008).

Since they haven't even received support from Apple, it's going to take at least another 12 months before we see a beta software (if we even see it at all) from Sling for the iPhone.
