Just what the title says. It seems those betas got served up fast and furious this year. Maybe it was to get out ahead of what they knew would be unfavorable battery life reviews on the 12.

New 12 Pro owner 🤞🏼

It was really simply the next version that would be coming out with 14.1 being mostly set and mainly associated with the new iPhones.

I deeply hope this is the case. This thing battery performance is not great.

If you’re having battery issues with it draining quickly, disable 5G in settings, if you don’t use it.

Check the settings, the option is on by default, so your phone will be checking for it, even if you can’t use it.
Not true my friend. If your plan doesn't support it its not even an option in settings.

Have you checked? I remember that not being the case back when we started getting 4G years back. People in another thread also indicated otherwise, as said if you can't use 5G, to turn it off.

I looked for it to turn it off, and don’t see it anywhere in my cellular settings. I’m thinking maybe when I’m in the city later and 5G pops up, it might show up then and allow me to turn it off.

My fiancee's plan didn't support 5G; she had the option to disable it. Since then, we have changed her plan so I cannot post photos for verification, but I turned it off right away.

On a battery note, I'm coming from an iPhone 11 Pro with 100% battery capacity. I am having better battery life on my 12 Pro than I was having on my 11 Pro and according to every review, I should be expecting an hour less of screen on time. I'm not doing anything out of the norm on my new phone that would save battery life - if anything, I'm using it more.
