OMG, My browser is now my worst enemy. It's been invaded by money zombies and their relentless begging for attention/money.

Is there a browser out there that still blocks popups and tracking and Most Importantly.... blocks all commercials and corporate blather before video content can begin. My soon to be former browser Firefux has betrayed my trust.

This crap makes me think of the horror in the sky of Blade Runner. That is where global corporate horror will take our civilization.

If Firefox has been compromised it has a clean reboot feature that reinstalls just the base browser deleting anything else. I use it still with some adblocking add ons but admittedly the ads are getting craftier by the day and things have been slipping through.

I'd be curious about others' experiences and recommendations for blocking browsers. I've dabbled with chrome but am sort of leery about how much information google gets.
