Anyone know of a good stream or live updates? Any predictions?
McGregor is the underdog but at least he isn't injured like Pacquiao was.
Expert boxer vs UFC Champ @ boxing. Gotta give credit to McGregor for playing by the boxing rules but I don't think he has much chance.
Should be starting pretty soon.

Im a big McGregor fan but I don't see him winning this fight.
Mayweather is known to be an expert evader but I think McGregor is going to go after him hard. Mayweather is getting a little old. I can't believe it is $100 pay per view AND it's on at midnight. I must be getting old haha. People are making a big deal about it but McGregor is not even a boxer. We'll see how UFC fighters stack up against boxers though. Certainly boxers couldn't make it in UFC.

I am sorry but this fight was utter trash...... I was pulling for Mcgregor, but he should have been put down pretty early. He didn't have his guard up at all, not to mention, if a good fighter, like Mayweather, would have taken advantage of that and put the hurt to him.

If everyone took the $100 they threw away on that monster (Mayweather) and donated it to victims of domestic abuse, the world would be a much better place.

Mayweather seemed to just be stalling out till the later rounds, you can see him smiling every once in a while and McGregor didn't seem to be doing much damage.

Either way Mayweather looked like he had 6 more rounds in him while McGregor looked tired.

Wish they didn't call it though, should have let him hit the mat.

That being said for his first boxing match, not bad. Needs to work on conditioning.

Yea.... I mean, he's only going up against perhaps the greatest pound for pound fighter in all of boxing history at his own game...

The fight was what I expected. I was hoping for a McGregor victory because I like to see underdogs win it and cause chaos, but Mayweather was better trained and conditioned for the fight.

I too think they called it early. I don't think Mayweather would have been able to knock McGregor out, but I also don't think McGregor had enough gas in the tank to win it.

Either way, glad I got to watch it for free (wouldn't have watched it otherwise... well I guess I would have paid $10 or something). Feel bad for the people who paid for the live stream and got hosed with the stream not working.

I think McGregor had the ability to win this fight but it was obvious even in the weigh in that he was very nervous. He rushed in right from the first bell when the fight started and seemed to fight a different fight than what he should have been fighting. People will disagree but I think McGregor would've knocked him out if he maintained composure and took his time. He is successful because of his precision and timing.

However, I thought he was at risk of being disqualified and it was proof that you can't do boxing and MMA in parallel.

Mayweather only did it to get an easy win. He would not have risked 50-0 against a more experienced younger boxer.

Connor was beat in the later rounds. Boxing just takes a different toll on the body. If he had more time to train, and be able to improve on his stamina, he could have gotten a chance to take it to Mayweather in the later rounds.

Whats concerning is seeing that two of the three scorers gave the first few rounds to Mayweather. I just dont understand what fight they were watching.

I think there was a risk of him losing though, even if he didn't see it. If there happens to be a rematch, which I highly doubt, I'd say McGregor knocks him out. And he'd do it within 5 rounds. He was exhausted by round 6 because he went racing into it and without any composure. He was very nervous. You could see that even at the weigh in. That wouldn't be a problem in a rematch.

That's true. Rounds 1-4 were McGregors definitely. But boxing judges have a history of bias.

McGregor would never knock Mayweather out.
If that was an absolute certainty then the fight at the weekend wouldn't have happened. McGregor made people ask the question and, considering how he fought and landed punches, it looks like he could have. He didn't just get the fight to happen because of his loud mouth. He has a history of knocking people out.

I give a lot of credit to Mayweather for being the smarter fighter as he controlled it comfortably. But would he have if McGregor had more composure? I don't think so.
