MB(A) X3100 drivers to be updated soon then?

Npw that their new puppie has the same graphics card (it does HAVE that right?), are there any driver updates coming? I keep reading the X3100 drivers are seriously lacking at the moment, so I'm kinda looking forward to that update every 'patch' so far.

Any news about that?

10.5.2 should provide much better drivers. Apparently a whole new update type - "Leopard Graphics Update" should be available.

Rumoured launch date is this Friday (the 25th).

That would be quite strange if Apple 10.5.2 release will include new gma965 drivers without any support from intel's side.
And for now, the newest gma driver update is from december 29.

Nothing really, just will make the card perform better, and get rid of all the minor graphical problems with the Macbooks.

We wont see anything amazing from the drivers, until Intel releases the T and L drivers later on this year, which will unleash the cards full potential..
