Would disabling one core of the processor when one's just watching a DVD or just using Safari (and eating up that whopping 2% of the CPU) allow the MB to run cooler than the average idle temps of 55-60C?
This should theoretically work in a dual-processor situation (where each processor is generating an amount of heat), but I'm not sure if the same holds true for dual-core processors.
