I am about the buy the 13" macbook pro touchbar .

I am wondering if I would be able to run windows 10 in bootcamp but also connect an external monitor? Has anyone used the laptop like this and had any problems?

it will be able to do it, if you are planning to use a 4k monitor scaling in windows can cause issues, but if not it should cause no problems.

Many windows apps just have rubbish scaling algorithms, and while windows 10 itself is pretty damn good these days many windows apps just haven't been given the same treatment.
