I have a MB Pro 2012 and I need to find the correct AHT version for this particular computer. Currently, I am running El Capitan.

Obviously, when I use D or Cmd + D it invokes Internet Recovery which then gives this message "Error....Cannot Load "EFI/Drivers/TestSupport.efi".

I did refer to the Github article and I did follow the directions and it didn't work when using the proper .dmg file.

I understand I could use other utilities to check the hardware status of the computer.

Out of curiosity, for what reason did you wanted to run AHT? I have the same MBP and when it came to run AHT, same error.

All my problems started following an EFI update.

So, I wanted to run AHT test since I purchased a used computer from a coworker. I put in a new drive and installed El Capitan then went up to Sierra and I realized that was a bad move on my end. I know that installing Sierra or better will screw up the AHT or make it nonexistent on the drive. Yes, I am aware that I can use other utilities to do the same thing as AHT.

For now, I gave up on it.
