I have a mid 2017 15” MacBook Pro Touchbar that will not power on. I have noticed low volume with a Bluetooth speaker the past few days. I rarely power off but decided to power down and restart the computer to see if it would fix the problem.

After powering down, the computer will not turn back on. It is plugged into the wall, I have pressed the power button for 10 seconds, tried to reset the SMC (10 seconds with the shift, control, option and power), nothing seems to work. Charger is plugged into a good outlet.

A call to Apple says to bring it to a store which I don’t have one in the middle of Montana.

Any thoughts on anything else I can try? Guesses on what it might be and if I take it to a store out of state next week is it likely to be fixable quickly. Any ideas and thoughts most appreciated. Thanks!
