MB Screen flicker

So I havent really noticed this problem until just a bit ago, but it seems as if the screen will randomly increase brightness and then go dim again and sometimes repeat. Has anyone else experienced this problem? Does the brightness of the screen automatically adjust to the light level in the room as does the backlit keys? It seems as if I cover up the camera the brightness of the screen changes

goto system preferences-click displays-then uncheck automatically adjust backlight
