Hi there,

I've just noticed on my new MB 2.0 SR the case on the left hand side seems to be loose. If I press the outer casing inwards (left-hand side, between the security lock hole and the edge of the notebook closest to me) the side seems to go in, underneath the top surface (palm-rest). I'm sure that shouldn't be happening... Is anyone else able to confirm whether their MacBook is the same, or should I take the 30 mile drive to my nearest :apple: store for the genius to look at?

TIA
Marc.

Just got my SR MB as well. Upgraded from a core duo macbook. Both of these macbooks have similar play on that side. The core duo was worse, and I do feel as though the SR's are better built. I saw a thread on this forum about a year ago addressing this, and there was a picture of a macbook with the topcase off, and you were able to see that the two screws on that side were not attached to anything. They were just there for show.
