I was wondering if these two machines have the same glossy coating

im on a macbook right now and dont see any reflections whatsoever
and i am really enjoying the contrast and vibrancy of the screen...

i was wondering if this coating and brightness is what i can expect from the macbook pro's glossy screen.

Do they have the same coating and/or panels?

Between my MBP and my girlfriends 2.0ghz MB, the coating on the screens are NOT the same. The MB's screen seems to have more of a glossy coat then on my MBP. the quality of the MB display isn't as nice either when compared to the MBP.

When buying a MBP you have two choices between:

1. Anti-glare matte screen

or

2. Glossy screen (like MacBooks)

All MBP's screen (matte or glossy) are LED lit, which have increased brightness and instant-on

I have a glossy screen MBP and I love it. The image is ultra crisp! Yummy
