MB763B/A and MC340B/A Differences

Can anyone tell me the difference between these 2 model numbers?

Models: MB763B/A and MC340B/A

MC340B/A is the latest revision with extended range, better performance, and Final N (not Draft N) specifications. I'm not entirely certain, but I believe that it uses MIMO smart antennas which was not available in the previous version.

I have the very latest one with the extra aerial/antenna and I can say it has absolutely no bearing on the speed or performance of the network in my situation. Bit disappointed really

I think my wireless issue is 2 solid walls getting in the way of the wireless signal.

I thought the Wireless 'N' might help but I have read that the 5GHz freq doesnt always help as playalistic might have found

Unfortunately that is the nature of the beast. A 5 GHz signal can't travel through walls as well as a 2.4 GHz signal.

Have you tried experimenting with different channels or multicast rate?
