MBA 13" Prices

Hi everyone,

I am curious as to what others think about the price increases and decreases for the new MBA's. Do you think that there will be significant price drops this year or in the next couple of months?

Right now is the "back to school" promo so you can get $100 giftcard, a nice student discount and if you join StudentRate.com you can get 4% cash back. Not a bad deal.

But when all is said and done, do you think a better promotion will come along?

Prices are stable, outside of student rebates and from time to time the Best Buys out there have door-crashers prices... but I wouldn't hold my breath on those. Just buy when you need.

Depends on how you define significant.

If there is a 13" rMBP introduced this fall and since back to school will be about over you could see a $100 drop on the current 13".

Every time something better comes out second gen refurbs go for less and Craig's list sales that a hit.

I suppose. I guess as a first time mac buyer, I want to get the most for my money
