MBA 2011 - External Monitor not detecting in Windows 7

I have the MBA 2011 with Bootcamp and the Intel HD 3000 Graphics. In Windows 7, trying to connect a projector via with the Mini Display Adapter > VGA.

Tried updating the Intel HD 3000 driver to the latest, which did not help. I've seen lots of posts with similar issues, but no solutions.

Any tips?
