El Captain has really helped give my MBA another spring in its step, mission control is smoother, launcher centre is smoother, expose is smoother and almost everything just feels way snappier, apart from stacks. Since Mavericks it has been very sluggish, just opening a stack view isn't quick and snappy, its responsive sure but the animation is just so laggy.
Will this be improved? I was hoping metal would sort this like it did with the other speed enhancements.
