Not sure if this will be useful to anyone but i measured the power consumption of my new MBA in various states.

mba 2011, 13", 1.7ghz, 128gb ssd. Fully charged. Auto screen brightness disabled to stop fluctuations.

All measurements in WATTS. Check the photos for results.

I have been looking for this info for quite some time. I even posted about it a couple weeks but received no answers. Thank you OP for posting the pics and the information. Very useful indeed.

Frankly, i'm amazed by how little power it consumes, even whilst watching HD flash video.

In general use, 6 watts idle is wonderful, 11-15 watts browsing and general usage, which pretty much sums up most of my usage.
