MBA 2012 Flash/SSD Faster?

Did they say that the Flash/SSd on the new MBA has faster I/O speeds than the 2011? Not sure if ifixit confirmed yet or not.
 
2012 MBAs use Samsung PM830 and Toshiba TSNS series SSDs. About twice as fast when compared with the previous gen SSDs.
