I am a big movie fan and therefore like to watch movie trailers. While watching them on my new 2013 refurb the videos stutter at least a few times during a 2:20 movie trailer. I checked and it is also happening on my previous MBA, a 2012 with 4 GB RAM. I'm guessing it's more of a software than hardware issue but can't determine how to fix it.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Same problem here on a 2012 MBA with 4GB.

Are you using Firefox by chance? I tend to notice that it doesn't happen much in Chrome or Safari.

I use the clicktoplugin Safari extension to force HTML 5 video whenever possible on various sites. (Youtube, dailymotion, Facebook, etc) and haven't had any stuttering on my 2011 version. Try that?

I use the same on Firefox and Safari. :) It does work fine in HTML5.

Gotta be a Flash plugin issue.
