So I have a Mid-2013 Macbook Air with Mavericks. For some reason I cannot get Bootcamp to download the latest windows support software - it always tells me there is a network problem. I've tried on various networks, wired and unwire -no difference.

When I download 5.0.5033 from the apple website and use it, I have mouse and keyboard support during the windows installation, but after the install finishes and I have to input date and time I lose the mouse and keyboard and cannot get any input. I've tried to actually download usb 3.0 drivers from intel and put them in a custom boot.dim for the windows install but this does not seem to work either.

From doing searches it sounds like the bootcamp software you get from BCA is a higher version than 5.0.5033 (5.0.5241 I believe). Is there ANY way I can get this except through BCA?

This is driving me nuts - any help would be appreciated.
