Just as the title reads, the FT camera in my wife's 2019 Refurb is grainy and dark.. I sat my 2015 11" MBA beside it and the camera on the 11" is beyond better.. has anyone noticed anything like this or does it sound like a camera issue? I'm shocked how bad the camera is on this. Any settings that can be played with?

MBA 2019 camera worse than my MBA 2015?

My 2013 MBA camera is better than 2020 MBA. Same issue - Very grainy. Apparently sometime in the last few years the cameras got worse rather than better. Disappointing. I had the same shocked reaction!
Had the same reaction! Just got a new Macbook Air and compared it to my 2016 Macbook Pro. Camera is significantly worse on the Air.

Our house's backup MBA 2015 has a significantly better webcam than the 2019 and 2020 we have as well. Same here.
