Hi All,

I'm running Big Sur 11.1 on the base 2020 MBA i3. I've noticed when my system goes to sleep for a long time and I wake it up, the system becomes unresponsive. I have to force restart my system for it to become functional again.

I do have a variety of 3rd party software installed like Parallels, Microsoft Office, etc., but this seems to have started since the 11.1 upgrade. I've ran Disk Utility and verified that the disk is okay.

Any ideas if this is just a bad update? If I should redo my system? If its common across the board?

Thank You

there might be some mac system log files to look at
for the Parallels shut dwn all the virtual machines and see if this resolves the issue?

I was doing early morning system backups and had lots of sleep issues with Catalina. Never really got this resolved totally. The mac stuff, your generally out of luck if your trying to do something more than surf and stream.

best of luck
