Hello. I believe there is plenty topics about mba temperatures and heating issues but couldn’t find anyone about exact mba. So i got mba 2010 late.
2.13 ghz intel dual core
4 gigs of ram
Nvidia 320 256 mb.

At the start mba was with macos lion, but since there is not many apps you can use with old versions I decided to upgrade to sierra. Did clean install and things started happen. I noticed left top
corner getting war while using mba. Mostly using for youtube, some web browsing. Ok, then i found temp
monitoring app and realised im getting around 70c while doing super simple tasks. This is my first mba, maybe this is completely ok? Not sure i had same issue lion. Maybe there is any other macos with less power requirements and still usable, because lion 10.7 i belive was way to old imho. Activity monitor looks ok tbh, nothing weird going on there except kernel_task sometimes shows up and takes like 25% of cpu.

70c is fine, but if you start using things like skype or lots of video in browser tabs watch out if it gets up to 90/100 - my old 2010 MBA was peaking around 100C when very busy and I eventually traded it in as the CPU would start to throttle and it would slow down.

This was on Sierra and then High Sierra. Your model is around 8 years old and has had a good life...
