Dear experts and fellow users,

My MBA is malfunctioning due to a broken harddisk. I've been trying to find a new SSD which can serve as a replacement. However, somehow I'm not able to find the exact HD (or alternatives) that I need.

The only seller I could find was MacSales.com. I found 2 options that will be sufficient for my situation:
- Apple 128GB Flash storage
http://eshop.macsales.com/item/Apple/MBASSDSAM128/

- OWC 120GB Aura 6G Solid State Drive
http://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/SSDA116G120/

Does anyone have experience with the OWC SSD? Is it worth the money?

I find it hard to believe that I cannot find a seller in the Netherlands that offers me a simple hard disk.

Hi, if your model number is MacBookAir3,1 then I think Transcend does a Jetdrive SSD size 240GB that should fit.

So that is another option and you can order of amazon.

Between OWC and Transcend a number of people prefer Transcend.
But have a look at some of the other threads on Macrumors and you can read more.

cheers.
