Hi all,

Been thinking about getting a Mac for when I start Uni in September, as my Netbook is on its last legs and my iPad is more for personally media with being only 16gb. Currently I'm leaning more for the MBA over the MBP due to its portability.

Just out of interest, how does the MBA handle gaming?
Would it comfortably play games such as Football Manager or Minecraft?
How does it handle Steam for Mac Or games such as the Knights of the old republic which is available on the MacApp store?
How would it handle playing games through boot camp such as Dawn of War 2?

Personally, I'm not really a 'PC' gamer myself, (prefer a console and even then I only play it a few times a month if that) and don't play many games, only really football manager (though my iPad does this now).

Thanks
AC

For casual gaming and older titles like you mention it will be fine.

I have never played minecraft or dawn of war so I can't say for those two, but modern games will probably play at low settings, won't be great to look at but they will play.

Minecraft will run without any problems. Sorry, can't speak to Dawn of War II.
