Hi,

I am interested in using the back-to-school promotion to buy me a MBA (which I do not really need).

I just wanted to know about Apple's history for such promotions. Do they usually include new released machines or revised ones in these promotions?

In other words, if they release a revised MBA or a new MBP, would that be included in the promo?

Thanks :)

All of the latest models are included in this deal. I would venture to guess that if Apple released a revised MBA before the deal expires that they would honor it on that model.

The MBA most likely won't be revised until Macworld January 2009, so I don't think it would figure into any back-to-school promotion.

That is what I was thinking also but with the recent HDD & SSD by Samsung & Toshiba, I thought there might be a slight upgrade.

last year when the new imac came out it replaced the old imac in the promotion. so yes.. if anything is revised it will become active in the back to school program..
