What do you get battery wise on your MBA?

I've been getting roughly 4-5 hours with normal web browsing, lower screen brightness and lowest keyboard light.

I have a 13"..

What year?

My 2011 13in (i5/4GB/120GB), I get about 6-7 with normal stuff (low-to-mid brightness, web browsing, lowest keyboard lighting, etc). I've tested in a couple times too, so this is a pretty accurate average for me.

I'm not sure if it's a 2011 or 2012. I picked it up from best buy a week ago, new.

I was thinking about it - I also use a 4G USB data card every time the laptop is on (I don't have wifi). So that may be dropping my battery life a tad.

2012s haven't been released yet, so 2011.

4G USB Data thingy could definitely be the culprit. Have you tested without it (with or without somewhere with Wi-Fi)?

No I haven't. I don't have anywhere to use it with wifi only.

Once I get internet in my apartment I'll be able to test it out. But new property, and they are not sure when the fiber lines will be ran.. so until then at least we have these 4G data cards.

Oh well. I think it's just a shock to me because I am so used to my iPad giving me 10-11 hours.

I agree that the USB card will suck some of the battery life down. I get about 6-7 hours of normal use with light web browsing and general use. I don't have Flash installed so that helps a lot as well.

I would get about 6-7 depending on what I was doing on a 2011 13". Very low screen brightness and rarely used the backlit kb.

About 5 hours of word processing on my MBA 11, but this drops to 3-4 hours if scrolling through internet pages. I suspect graphics rendering takes its toll.
