So I'm looking for an external monitor for my macbook air. I definitely want a Samsung brand monitor. It will be used at my home for connecting my MBA to so I can run programs like Excel and Safari at the same time. I do some minor photo editing for my own personal use.

What would you guys suggest?

Prefer a larger screen, 24-27 depending on price.

Being able to connect my Nintendo Wii to it would be an added bonus, but not if it affects price significantly.

Also I would very much prefer that it has as small of a bezel as possible.

$0-300 is my preferred price range.

well, the more accurate the better. I do have a dSLR and I use aperture.

I'm hoping in the $200-$300 range.

200 - 300 USD limits your selection, there is definitely no 27" with the appropriate resolution (2560 x 1440 pixel) in that price range. For that money you might get a good 23" or 24" display though.
Have you looked at this or this Dell yet? They have IPS panels and thus have better colours and viewing angles.
