Just noticed this today:
ScreenShot2012-05-08at55538PM.png

Nothing specific open, nothing different than normal as far as i know. My fans are just going nuts for no reason, at a very low temp.

Mail, safari, itunes, skype (no calls right now) are open.

PS: by just noticed this today, I mean that i'm 99.9999% sure it hasn't happened before.

It could be that Finder is indexing your hard drive, in which case you should see it when clicking the magnifying glass on your Finder bar. Otherwise, you might want to check Activity Monitor to see which processes are pushing your CPU.

Just quit everything and put it to sleep for a minute and it's all good. Weird, i had put it to sleep a couple times before with no avail. Thanks guys!
