Does anyone have a hard case for MBA 11'' or 13'' ? if so ,
1) what about the heat of the mba ? is it more or as if the case is not there?
2) is the case durable? wiil it last?
3) brand of case?

I've had good luck with speck cases on my MacBooks, never experienced any heating issues with them.

Incepio is good.

I'm using a pad and quill book looking one… I only wanted it cause i can charge it without taking it out of the case.

OT, but I will try anyway. You don't need a case for the MBA. It won't scratch like an ipad. This thing has a durable finish. My wife's 2010 MBA11 has not a scratch on it, and she is anything but careful with it.

The 2012 MBA gets fairly hot if you are running flash. A plastic case will make it worse.

I don't know what's good, but I can tell you to stay away from "Pearl mCover" That suxxors.

I used to always cover all my new gadgets to keep them in tip top condition but now i just use them as they are. I look after them but i don't Mother them!

Just keep it alfresco and don't drop it, you'll be fine.

1.) The heat isn't a problem with the case on.
2.) Seems pretty durable so far, had it for... since the 2012 mba's came out.
3.) Speck

Overall it's pretty good. I've had to ditch the upper casing though because I've found that it's weighed down my screen.

As much as I liked how rugged my MBA11 was, I ended up taking it off with following reasons.
1) collecting dust inside of the case.
2) not many selection of nice MBA11 cases that fits with hard cases. Need to opt for 12-13 cases in my previous situation.
3) tiny gap between the keyboard and screen when closed.
4) made my screen heavier that sudden shift of screen occurred with MBA 11. (InCase Perforated Hard case).

I've had a Pearl mCover for several months and I'm very happy with it. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004I4BS1E/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00 Check the user reviews. Out of 251 reviews 85% give it 5 or 4 stars. Those are fantastic numbers by Amazon standards, especially when there are so many reviews.

I've had mine for about four months. The front non-skid feet have come off, and on of the collapsible legs will only collapse if I use the power of grey skull.
