Hey guys, just got my MBA. Love it, especially since I have a Samsung Screen (Yes, I can tell a difference over the LG). Only problem is I noticed the hinge is a bit crooked, and it's starting to bother me. I could exchange it at best buy, but I'm worried about getting an LG screen in doing so. Think Apple could fix it?

Picture below, may not be as obvious. Pay attention to the black line/border.

I see it. If it really bothers you, take it back.

My guess is that there is a bent hinge mount in the machine. My MacBook Pro was like that after Apple dropped it. It also did not line up fully with the bottom case and there was an inch of play. There was quite a long repair authorization to sign to get that fixed.

I went through a few units last year before I found one I was happy with.

2x of them had the same hinge issue as yours .

I found it very noticable, if you do then exchange it for sure.
