MBA how to connect monitor(s)

Hello , I have a new MBP 1.7/8/256 and I'd like to connect a single monitor and possibly 2 monitors. What would I need to do this?

The link chabig posted seems to cover the process nicely. One thing I will add is if you want to connect via HDMI there is also an adapter for that.
