I've been a lurker here since I've gotten my MBA in 2011 and now I'm having problems for the first time and thought I'd turn to this community for help.
I have a MBA (late 2010). Every now and then - once or twice a day - I'm losing sound. My only solution has been to restart. It hasn't happened (yet) during audio playback. But at some point when I want to watch a Youtube clip or start a song on iTunes - no sound.
The audio settings look the same with and without audio.
Two weeks ago I updated from 10.6 to 10.8. I don't think the audio issues started right away, but still, with the proximity of the upgrade, it's one of my suspects.
I've already done a PRAM-reset, that hasn't helped.
Anybody got an idea?
