My dad gave me his old MBA late 2010 knowing it an issue. It kept shutting down sporadically. It seems as if someone hit the power button - gives you the shut down window and then shuts down. Sometimes you are able to cancel it before it does.

So I took it to the Apple Store in November and they said it was a faulty logic board. As warranty had expired I paid to have it serviced and when I got it back the issue was gone. Now 2 months later the same issues has started to appear again. Shutting down by itself.

Anyone else experiencing this?

I also do not happen to be in US anymore, but in Asia. Seems like Apple is not willing to repair my MBA on repair warranty over here. Anyone got suggestions?
