I'm looking for a little advice on age-old MBA vs. MBP question. I'm currently using a 2 GHz C2D white MacBook from 2007. It's been a great computer, and is still fast enough for the majority of my uses, but the keyboard is starting to give out on a few keys and it overheats BADLY when streaming video (I can watch for about 20 minutes and then Hulu/Netflix start skipping). Streaming video is one of my primary uses for my personal computer, in addition to simple web-browsing, photos, and music.

So I'm wondering:
1) Given that the MBA already has a slower processor than what I'm currently using, will it be able to stream video and keep cool? Even when most web content goes HD?
2) I don't want to buy a new Mac more than every 3 years. Is it wise to start with a computer that already has an out of date processor?

Thanks for the help
