I got my Macbook air m1 a few months back, and I use it a lot for watching movies on external TV display. I use Usb-c to hdmi adapter. I have been noticing a faded dock icons showing in the black bottom bar of the movies and I attributed it to the burn-in as its an older TV. But yesterday I decided to test it out with a win laptop, played the same file with VLC (use it on mba too) and there were no dock icons visible, so its not a burn-in issue.
I tried different resolutions and made the dock hidden, but it still shows up when I play a movie or open a black image.
Anyone got any clue why this is happening?
