Hi all! I've been looking for an ultrawide curved 4k monitor or 2 curved 4k monitors and thought I'd come here and see if anyone had ideas or was running a similar setup.
I've got a 2022 MBA M2, 16GB RAM connected to a CalDigit TS3 Plus. Running 2 Samsung 27" 4k monitors (one connected via displayport and the other via HDMI and an adaptor with DisplayLink software). No issues for my daily use. I use CleanMyMac and, occasionally, I do get a memory pop up but it doesn't seem to affect what I'm doing at all.
I'd like to consolidate to a single ultrawide 4k monitor. Ideally 49" and curved. A single monitor would eliminate the need for DisplayLink and the adaptor which is a plus.
Or, get 2 curved 4k monitors. 27" but I can't seem to find any. Or 30-ish" (a more common size maybe?). I like side by side monitors but hate having to try to align them with my monitor stand...they never seem to want to stay next to each other.
That's it...that's all I got. Am I crazy? Any ideas? I was looking at the Samsung Odyssey Neo G9 but reviews said you needed the hardware to support it and that made me think maybe my MBA wouldn't work with it. Or, the Samsung Odyssey G9
Not a gamer at all...the only game I'd be playing is maybe Wordle...haha
