I desperately need help. I was doing a clean install of my mid 2013 Macbook Air and now it boots into a black/dark grey screen. The screen is illuminated but nothing shows up. I hear the start up chime and nothing else happens. There is no apple logo.
I have tried the Following: PRAM reset, SMC reset, command+R, option, hold down shift while starting the computer, holding D key down during startup. Nothing works at all.
Here is what happened. I booted into command+R and went into disk utility. From there I erased the startup drive. I then proceeded to re-installing a new version of Yosemite in the recovery options. The recovery was trying to download Yosemite however it said some error occured and was unable to install. I then restarted my macbook air from the apple menu bar and thats when the black/dark grey screen problem happened.
Any ideas on what else I can try to do or what the problem may be.
