MBA mouse disappears after sleep?

My MBA 11's mouse pointer will occasionally disappear and not reappear after sleeping overnight. Or once it appeared and could be moved around the display, but refused to register any touchpad clicks. Had to reboot the MBA to get the mouse pointer back again.

Any one else seen this? Is there a fix?

Mine is sometimes VERY slow to let me regain control of the cursor after deep sleep. I usually just have to wait and it comes back though. How long do you wait?

How long do you wait?

A lot longer than the 5 or 10 seconds it takes to come out of deep sleep.
