Hi!!!!

I have a mid-2009 MBP with a 2.2 GHz C2D 2 GB RAM 160 GB HDD and Im thinking about selling it to get a MBA 2010 because its cheaper that the 2011

is this a performance boost or not

By the way i already have an iMac 27" as my main computer so i don't use my MBP much except for traveling

Does the MBA look better than the MBP??

Thanks for replies

I'd recommend sticking with your MacBook Pro because of a few things:
  • The memory and hard disk are user servicible, so you can upgrade them down the road if you wish to add more life to your MacBook Pro; you can not do this with a MacBook Air.
  • Your MacBook Pro has a backlit keyboard which can be convenient for typing in the dark; the MacBook Air does not have this (in the 2010 model).
  • You have a larger array of connectivity options on the MacBook Pro in comparison to the MacBook Air.
Just my two cents, hope that helps. :)
