Do you keep auto brightness on or off? If you have it off, how bright do you have your display configured? 50%?

I am still undecided but for the moment auto brightness is on. I will be testing it for a while and then decide if I like it or not.

Undecided as well. It seems some situations work well, not so sure on all lighting situations yet though.

This is the first thing I configured on my new macbook air. I prefer to manually adjust the brightness for what is comfortable for me. It is easy enough to do with the keyboard shortcuts.

In safari, 50% seems nice to me. So much white, a bit dimmer is better.

Editing pictures, watching movies, playing games, 75% is better.

Outside, 100% works so much better then I thought.

At night, I'm at a few bars.

Interested on the Safari comment. On previous laptops I usually kept the brightness pretty far up across the board. However, in Safari (or browsing in general) I find it almost headache inducing to see all the white in high brightness.

Are you taking your macbook air with you to the bars at night? Is that a good idea?
