The 512GB SSD translates into 499.4GB.
After running Monolingual (which removed barely a few hundred MB) I removed my 8GB sleepimage file and now stand at 488.7GB.

That brings ML down to about 11GB

Looking at the disk breakdown, you can still remove about another 1 to 1.5GB with built in videos, pics & Alex voice.

I do have at least 300GB of stuff including multimedia files and will install VMWare Fusion + Bootcamp.

On the effort front: It did take me about, ohhh at least 10 sec. to do it so well worth it.

I also recently nuked my sleep image (on a 128gb 2012 model) and so far everything's been great. REALLY appreciating the extra space.
